We all know how the saying goes, so why do some put this notion on pause during the holidays? If we’re sticking to the motto and treating others how we would want to be treated personally that translates to me as treat others and treat yo’self. When the generosity is in the air why not take a deep breath in?
‘Tis the season for parties, get togethers, and days off work. It’s very simple; you need shit to wear, and lots of it. You’re gonna be seeing a lot of the same faces at (fill in the blank) functions and you best not be caught doubling down on the same outfit. And let’s be real, it’s also the season of gift cards deals (click here for ours), last minute discounts, and tons of fresh merchandise. You’d be silly to not get the dress you’ve been eyeing simply because you just bought Grandma a new crochet needle set. What? Will your guilt subside on December 26th after you’ve worn the same black dress to the office holiday party and, wait oh no, now the one you wanted is gone! Nonsensical if I do say so myself.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m no money bags over here, and I know that benjamins don’t grow on trees, but please know that it’s A-OK to get yourself something nice while you’re out spreading your dollars around for the ones you love. It’s also A-OK to be of the belief that this is the time of year to give to others and not yourself, we’ve got you Covered there too. You can take a spin on the saying by treating others how you would like to be treated by way of treating them to Covered goodies because that is what you would like to be treated with. Nothing wrong with a little (obvious) subliminal messaging right?
Whatever your holiday views and spirits just know you’re always on the nice list at Covered. Oh and we have free cocktails, does the mall give you champagne when you walk in? Think about it. #dontgetmauledatthemall
